Thread: Humidor? Or towel box?

Help me out here, if ya could. What is this thing?...


I seem to recall seeing one or two in shave den related posts, but I can't remember exactly what it is. I want to say a humidor that was converted to a towel warmer? Or a barber's towel warmer cabinet that was converted to hold razors & hones? Like I said, I've slept since then.

That's an old "Sterilizer" box.

It's a sterilizer box for certain. It's also sitting upside down (or on its top). It should have a glass window that says "Sterilizer" on it with a "+" sign above it. Inside should be two glass shelves.
