Thread: Razor storage

I found this Ikea drawer liner at the Salvation Army Thrift Store yesterday and thought it might be handy in making up storage boxes for straight razors. You could cut it to fit and it looks non marring.

Great find BobH. Looked through the IKEA Catalog for US. Must be a discontinued item or I've lost my research skills.

I'd go to my local IKEA but it's a 40 mile one way trip.

I was afraid it might have been discontinued. The nearest IKEA store to us is 400 miles west in Winnipeg. We were there once and I'd sooner shoot myself than go back in there again because of the layout. You are like a rat trapped in a maze to try and find your way out.

So from my perspective it is relatively close. Perhaps you could make a multi purpose trip out of it, and the Swedish meatballs are pretty good.

I think it is a conspiracy plot to keep you in the store till you buy something out of frustration.

It's actually a popular shopping layout tactic. It's the same reason you have to walk through women's clothing and perfume areas to get to men's clothing sections. So you have to mill about and maybe see something else to buy on the way

Ummm. That's a wasted tactic on me. I stopped buying women's clothing years ago.

No Rezdog never eat meatballs from a furniture store. They use saw dust as filler. Lol. But they are not bad.
