That's about as good as it gets...Spectacular!!
I love the scales that look like they came out of grandma's silverware drawer.
Congratulations and enjoy!

Thanked: 4827Well part of the reason they look like they came out of the silverware drawer is because they are sterling silver. The three of them have pretty nice scales. I suspect the Emperor razor is Vulcanite, but I swear I can see grain in them. Likely I just need to clean my glasses. The other set is mother of pearl. Nothing quite like beautiful blades surrounded by incredible scales.

Rest assured those Emperor scales are of Bakelite/Vulcanite. Sturdy stuff, til you start to break it!
(Don't ask how I know!)

Congratulations Shaun those are beautiful additions to any collection. Thanks for showing. Just a suggestion, you may try some Armor-all or silicone grease on the Vulcanite or Ebonite handles. It will help to re-condition the material and turn from green back to black. Try in a small patch area first if you are worried.
