Cool, an interesting design. I take it you do not lather in either one, but put hot water in the larger container, and then insert the cone in the hot water to keep the brush warm between passes ? Kind of like a two piece Moss scuttle ?
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Exactly, it's designed for face lathering. Deeper narrower well to keep retain the heat better. That's a 30 mm knot so it fits almost anything and held the heat nicely for over half an hour with just hot tap water.

You know the Association for the Advancement of Scuttles has lab tested those units and found it ain't called "Dirty" bird for nothing. it turns out the clay used contains highly radioactive materials. An hour within 6 feet of it and you're sterilized for good.

You better put it in a lead container and send it to me for disposal. I'll know how to handle it.

    Har har.

A glow in the dark scuttle also makes it easier to lather up when its dark. Doesnt help you with the actual shave in the dark but perhaps the extra eye that sees IR it causes you to grow may help out
