Looks like a great project and you are well on your way.
My only advice is to get a hold of another cabinet when you can.
Guaranteed if you hang around the forum for any length of time, and shaving becomes an addiction (like it has for so many of us) you will run out of room quick.

    Good luck! Enjoy yourself!

I'm already well on my way. I got my son a Bismarck for his birthday last month, stepping him up from a shavette. He now has one of my Wade & Butchers and I'm probably going to gift him a nice 5/8 NTS stainless next week. I will try my darnedest to keep myself to 6 razors (notice I have an empty slot at the moment) , so I have a feeling my son will be amassing a collection without spending a penny.

    6 razors???

Wow, next thing we'll be hearing about something crazy like keeping to only 5 or 6 brushes?? Or only 20 or 30 different types of stones, or what, only 5 or 6 strops...sheesh, might as well say trying to keep it between 60 and 80 different soaps and creams?

Really, who could live like that???

    Sheer madness.....

That is nice. i've got plans for a vintage style medicine cabinet that i haven't had time to make. gives me inspiration! Do a search on Shave Dens and you will find more ideas too.

All you need now is a handlebar stache and an old bowling shirt. People will think you've been in the barber business for decades!

Seriously though, I'm impressed. Your cabinet looks great and makes me a little jealous.
