I bought a 12 pack of kitchen towels from Costco. They are different colors than our regular towels and they are mine to use. I like them because they are a great size and not as thick as a bath towel.

I purchased some white face cloths at Costco. They are larger than a most face cloths, but they are smaller than a hand towel, so I can use a new one every day without filling up the hamper. In addition to cleaning off the razor, I rinse them out and remove the lather off my face at the end of the shave. They are soft enough they do not irritate my skin. When they start to wear out, they can be replaced cheaply.

Im likeing the idea of smaller towel. I dont wrap my face with a hot towel. And as far as wiping the razor, its only done once between passes ad then after the shave. I dont wipe the soap off, i rince too. All great info. Ill have to do some looking at towels but the non terry type are peaking my enterest. I think that is the part of the towel that gets sliced.

Yes, I have cut some hand towels as well. If I'm careful and let the towel get right to the edge, but no more, then I'm fine.

Having said that, we all have to remember: 'Ain't no one happy if mama ain't happy' - probably better keep those razors away from her good towels.

I've been very happy with the Amazon wash cloths - think they have been referenced. The edge seem will come lose on some of them, but they are still a great deal.
