New soap container
Found this in a display case at home. The wife picks up stuff and i never know unless i happen to notice it...
Thick fancy glass with a peuter lid. 4.5 inches wide.
Too bad she wont let me use it.
So i went out and found these little jars a week or so ago. I think they are 4 or 6 oz canning jars for jams and such...
The open8ng is about 4 to 3.5 inches. Havent measured it. I touch on the small side but not too bad. I like them and they hold the soap just fine. Biught a set of four for around 8 bucks i think. Found them at walmart.
Guess i will have to settle for the not so pretty glass jars. Damn wife just dont understand!Last edited by Gasman; 11-19-2017 at 01:21 PM.

I use a similar jar for my Cella and it works fine. I have a little concern that when the soap starts to go down will it hide under the rim? Also I hope I never drop it.
They make ones with "fancier" designs that might be on sale after the fall canning season. Fleet Farm or any grocery store carry them.

Now that fancy jar is cool, but mason jars are handy too. If you get to steal the other one, you will be "almost cool " in my book. Lol, if your soap don't quite fit you can always use a cheese grater. Tc

If the ridges on the bottom of the wife's bowl are on the inside, that would be a lathering monster.
Might be time to sneak it out for a test run.

It you have the time, wandering through antique shops even with the SO, can unearth a lot of similar items. Cost can be very low for the simpler ones. There are many which would not be out of place in a man's shave cave!

The ridges are on the outside. That was the f8st thing that caught my eye. Got all excited until i felt the inside. St8ll, its a nice looking bowl. But tue canning iars can stack and thats a plus in the closet where i have to keep my stuff.
