    Default Clubman powder

I was online looking for another bottle of clubman TALC powder. Lo and behold I accidentally put clubman finest powder in my cart and ordered it by accident. Not the same as the talc. It's corn starch and zinc oxide. No talc what so ever.

I looked on Clubmans website and don't see their finest talc anywhere. Is it discontinued?

Real talc isn't used anymore over concerns about lung issues. It is ground rock and not the best thing for you, almost like asbestos.

Lots of manufacturers still use talc.

Yes, many do use talc. Depends on the type of talc I guess.

All I know is the commercial stuff we used in the pulp mill was carcinogenic according to the labelling as per WHMIS.

That would suck , it's what I use in the summer, it's got a nostalgic thing for me. Barber always dusted you down with his talc brush. But a close second I have used when I,m not around a store that has clubman, is a product call "Anti Monkey Butt". Yellow jar for men, pink for ladies, it's really good on long motorcycle rides, you guys who ride know. As a matter of a fact it would have been nice out in that jungle 46 years ago Tc

The bottom line is talc used years ago before it was refined and contained asbestos is the bad stuff. The more modern forms refined to eliminate asbestos hasn't been used long enough to tell. So I guess if you use it you're the guinea pig.

The lawsuit against Johnson and Johnson was originally decided in plaintiffs favor and then it was reversed so I guess it is still in the courts.
