Thread: Just Made Leather Case

I just finished a leather carrying case for my straight razors. I'm pretty happy with it so far. Might put some snaps in it.

Some kind of strings to tie around after you roll it up works really well, too. Though I'm always wary of storing razors in leather for any length of time - it can lead to corrosion.

Yeah I considered buying some fabric to sew/glue on the inside to keep them out of contact of the leather, but since I'm using this to hold for my razors I use regularly and not a storage case, I wasn't too concerned.

Too true about the strings! I've been thinking along those lines too but I love the look of brass or silver snaps leather.

Very nice. I like the idea of the extra retaining flap.

Leather straps with buckles or snaps would give you the accent you're looking for, especially if you have a belt you could upcycle.

While figuring out what design I wanted to do I googled all the examples I could find on roll cases for razors and all the ones I found (There's not too many making them) I liked had that extra retaining flap.
