Thanked: 13245Hehehe good to see it revived
It goes back to the word "Snurdle" which is the almond sized Dollop of Shave Cream that you use, I had nothing to do with that name
I did however coin the term "Snurdle Dipper" the name "Snurdler" came later in that same thread.. The original thread on here was lost in the great crash of 08 however it still exists on B&B
And that is the History of a fun project
I still have a couple laying around"No amount of money spent on a Stone can ever replace the value of the time it takes learning to use it properly"

Thanked: 4206Indeed a snurdler freely given, and made in reverie begets a more lubrious lather some southern gents have been known to attest.
Happy to gouge the odd puck with mine as well.

Hey, i anit asking but id be very happy to receive one. But im still goi g to keep looking. You never know what i might come up with. I did kinda like the bent one Richard showed one time. It might have needed some work, but the idea was good.

Here it is. butter knife. The springy, 1/2" wide, blade makes sticking croap to the bottom of a shave cup easy.

Thanks for the explanation Glen, I learn something everyday here.
In fact as I read through, especially on all the honing info, I wonder if I have enough space in my brain!
I definitely would like to be on that list Tom. but may want to put me lower down on the list as I haven't been shaving.
Going to have to get my shave gear together, lost my shave stuff in the move.
I have my blades though, will never leave those in storage. One step at a time.
So my sad admission here is that I hang out on a shave forum, talking to my buds, all the while using a wahl electric hair buzzer to shave with. Dang that sounds bad, don't worry Major Tom, I'll get it together sir! Just gotta double-time it!

We might have to ban ya from the group Mike T if you keep that up. Or at least put a second chair in the corner so you can sit in the corner with me, as i keep being put there by TC.
