Thread: Straight Razor Display Case

Just wanted to show off a straight razor display case I use for my collection. I found a soft sunglass display case off Amazon for the box, and designed and 3d printed spacer supports for the razors to fit into and stay upright. I love being able to browse through my collection to pick a razor to use, and have since this photo outgrew one and needed to add a second!

That's great. Nice application. A well done display is always nice to see. You might want to get some desiccant packs to keep inside it to avoid moisture build up.

I make sure to dry and oil everything before going back into storage for any length of time and so far has been doing the trick.

I went through a few storage ideas as my collection has grown, I ended up adopting and modifying the use of jewelry box's.

This one holds 85 razors.



And have added another, since.

It's like looking into the future lol. A few years in I have maybe 35-40 razors in my personal collection and a backlog of over 100 razors for restoration/repair, I'm sure down the road my organizer will look the same.

Its best to get something that hold twice what you have in stock as collections grow...

Now my cabinet is full again but I swear Im not going bigger again.

In the words of someone else " I'm well jell" .I've got a young child so I have to think about that but looking for ideas to display, I'm thinking of a photo frame with depth but opens up maybe lockable. Things is searching for that is a mine field just loads of tatt comes up.

Any ideas guys?
