I am a little confused about these scuttles:
    Schwarzweisskeramik

Are they hollow inside, so that you cant put water inside them? Like you an with the GS5 and dirty birds?

    Pastor,

Yes they are...Even the one's displayed in the link. I think you put the water inside thru the brush holder on the side.

You do indeed! I use a schwartzweisskeramik scuttle in my video and you can see me fill it.

    I like my Dirty Bird:
    1.5 scuttle for bowl lathering,
    brush scuttle for face lathering
bill bowl, because sometimes I don't want to use a scuttle

    Default Dirty Bird or . . .

    Hello, Chimensch:

I owned a Georgetown scuttle at one time and didn't like it. I have not tried any other manufactured one. Then I realized I can improvise my own scuttle. I do and it works quite well.

By the way, I like your shaving video. It has a good flow and it is quite educational. The talk is limited and to the point. No gimmicks. The closeups are good. The combination of using the scuttle, lathering, stropping and shaving ties nicely together. Well done, sir.

    Regards,

    Obie
