Razor case for travelling...
I didn't want my razor damaged while it was stuffed in my travel bag as I'm away at the inlaws over Xmas. So I decided to try a spare toothbrush case our lass had. She said I could use it for my toothbrush but after trying my TI in it I found it a perfect fit.
Just thought I'd share this as I know a few others have asked questions on what you can use to transport straights.
Here's a few pics. What do others think?

I like it. Havin't seen that style here in the states. Looks like a real good fit.

Thanked: 235It's not really traveling, but when I pack my bag to go to the gym I pack my razor in the plastic coffin that my Dovo razor came in.

Thanked: 198after looking at the pics posted, why wouldn't a eyeglass case work, one of the hard cases, that way you would place them in and maybe add some packing to keep it from moving around.

Some ingenious ideas here, though I also haven't seen that style of toothbrush case in the States.
Dovo also makes a leather travel case (haven't tried it): Travel Accessories

My wife came up with a great idea. I bought a Case Logic case designed for a Play Station Portable (PSP)
Link
On one side there is a wide elastic strap. She stitched the center of it to the case back so it perfectly holds 2 razors!
The other side has a mesh pocket that I now use to hold a small travel mirror and a styptic pencil. The case even has a little tag inside that I fished a hook thru so I can hang the case...

Thanked: 227I have a wash bag for travelling, on the side is a zipper area with little elastic bits in, holds a mirror, nail clippers scissors, travel toothbrush, comb and had a little thing similar to a waitors friend (which I didn't need) so I took that out and that elastic loop now houses my straight when I travel, the real benefit being I can fit a soap and my little plastic lather cup in the main part, along with my little bottle of skin food and a bar of soap in a travel case and a face cloth. It takes up a bit of case space, buut so worth it lol.
When I remember where it is i'll let yall see it.
