Thanked: 259hanging razor rack
in the past i have seen a hanging rack for straights. the rack used shoulder hooks for the razor to rest in. on some, the shoulder hooks had clear plastic sleeves to protect the scale from getting scratched. the plastic sleeve material is what i am looking for. hope one of you gents can help me out.

Thanked: 96Could you just use small tubing, like air hose for an aquarium? Most hardware stores have quite a few choices, just dont know if any would be small enough. I have also seen rubber to dip tools into to replace handles that might also work.

This stuff might work for a dip. Plasti Dip Protective Rubber Dip Coating Product – Plasti Dip International
Hope this helps.
Jim those look great, thanks for the inspiration. I think I have some stainless welding rod stashed somewhere.

Just my 2 cents, but you might try heat shrink tubing. I know you can get it in different sizes, but not sure how small it comes.

+1 to freebird. Heat shrink tubes work ok. The smallest size i know is 2 mm, and it will shrink enough. These are available in almost any color as well as clear too. Ask your local fine electronic or car repair store.
