Yep! I actually had one too. I gave up in it because it was unwieldy and the cartridges were expensive to replace (for a teenager). And as an aside it was launched in the 80's and died quickly thereafter. I did like the scent of the shave soap very much though. It had a lavendery sandalwood type thing going on if I'm remembering right. I actually got one off of ebay a few years back just to smell that scent again. I thought, at the time, that it smelled vaguely like Floris' No. 89.
I don't recall whether the lather was any good though. I'm thinking it wasn't because I stuck with my staple method at the time which was Noxzema. Mom tossed the brush after I moved out.

I bought it new , sometime in the early '70s . I found it in my dresser drawer , and now it's part of my vintage shaving brush collection LOL .Quote:

Yeah I gave it up too , because of the cost of the cartridges , and the fact that it was no better than Noxzema . The product is typical of the Gillette philosophy ; give them the razor or in this case the brush , and stick it to 'em for the refills .Quote:
