Yep! I actually had one too. I gave up in it because it was unwieldy and the cartridges were expensive to replace (for a teenager). And as an aside it was launched in the 80's and died quickly thereafter. I did like the scent of the shave soap very much though. It had a lavendery sandalwood type thing going on if I'm remembering right. I actually got one off of ebay a few years back just to smell that scent again. I thought, at the time, that it smelled vaguely like Floris' No. 89.

I don't recall whether the lather was any good though. I'm thinking it wasn't because I stuck with my staple method at the time which was Noxzema. Mom tossed the brush after I moved out.

    Regards,
    EL

Yeah I gave it up too , because of the cost of the cartridges , and the fact that it was no better than Noxzema . The product is typical of the Gillette philosophy ; give them the razor or in this case the brush , and stick it to 'em for the refills .

    That's a really unique product...

...but I think I'll stick with my TGQ soap and badger brush!

Yeah , that's what I've been using after I stopped using Noxzema . My favorites are the Bay Rum , and the Desert Ironwood .

I think my dad or grandfather had one like that. I forget who had it, but I do remember seeing it.

It's crazy some of the things that they come up with huh?
