    Default Razor Cases

    Hello All,

I am currently looking for a case to store my straight razor[s]. I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with the following:

    Travel Accessories

    Travel Accessories

I like both of the above cases but was just wondering what other people thought. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks for any help.

Edit: I would only want to have a maximum of 7 razors at one time. Preferably, I would only have two good ones.

If you only want to store your max. of seven razors, why not get this instead? Its cheaper.

    Just my 2 cents.

Those razor rolls look really nice and are very reasonably priced compared to other models being offered. With leather razor rolls, part of me worries that the leather may have a detrimental effect on the razors. I definitely will consider one of those razor rolls though.

I'm using a Smiggle zippable, semi-hard shell pencil case.

    Smiggle : Hardtop Pencil Case
    (I got a black one - because it's a boy colour )

Room for three razors, a barber hone and a side pocket where I can stick a small mirror, styptic pencil and my brush.

Works for me. In my bathroom I have a lockable box on the bench - keeps young hand off sharp things!

    All the best,
    Michael

    Default are you kidding??

leather and steel go together like peanut butter and jelly!
guns in holsters, belts and buckles, and so on.
i don't think they would make a case for razors out of leather if it was a bad thing, do you? what about stropping?
anyway, SRD is owned and run by the same guys who run this site if you don't know that yet and they would not steer you wrong. trust me.

plus it is a great price and i am probably going to get at least one more

    good luck either way

Just make sure that there are no drops of water on the razor, or between the scales, when you put it away.
If moisture gets trapped in the case; it will have not so fun consequences.
