What do you take with you when you travel, like a mug, type of brush, soap holder, etc.?

When I travel, I take a tube of shave cream (there are a few to choose from out there), a cheap brush (Soon to be replaced with a better brush, since cheap is also nasty in this case), I make and use my own strops, so I have a 2"x 17" one that I roll up and carry in my kit and lastly I carry the cut-throat razor of choice.
That's it as far as shaving gear. I do carry other general toiletrys, including a bottle of aftershave/balm in the same bag. The bag itself is from a Hiking/Camping store and is small, light and compact but still holds more than I need.
One day I plan on getting around to making a leather dopp kit...But that's a while away yet.

Found a decent bag at walmart the other day that can fit all my travel needs in and still fit in a backpack. So now I just need to decide if I want a paddle or a strop that I can roll up.

Have any of you tried a European men's carry-all?

I am using a "Samsonite" toiletries bag I gave my Father many years ago. It hangs in the shower and loads of room for Straight + DE's. I have a smaller one for weekend travels though.

I really like that col. Littleton bag, now if only I had that kind of scratch to spend. I am looking for bag like this for deployments, and all these links are very helpful

addendum...the dopp kit is now my daily use shaving bag...holds my mug of soap (one of 3 varieties I "scented" myself) my straight razor, razor stand, safety razor (in case the had eye coordination aint happenin' that day) brush and syptic pencil...bought my niece the large (I think) carbon black dopp kit for her medical instrument bag when she goes to med school and bought my sis a messenger bag (I think) for Christmas...I also bought a wallet and a passport wallet...SBL may have my protrait on their wall as one of their most prolific customers...lol

I came across a site that carries the Dopp brand dopp bags. I bought the Admiral. It is very well made, leather and the classic design. The site is ebags - Dopp Toiletry Bags - eBags.com

Bought the Super Jumbo Dopp years ago in jet black leather. It's a little different than the current version in that instead of three bottles you got two bottles and a soap holder, otherwise it looks pretty much the same. I ditched the bottles and used those holders for a small glass shampoo bottle and my turnback brush and they fit perfectly. I kept the soap holder as it's very practical and works well for it's intended purpose. Been traveling for work for the last few months and I am pleased as could be.

    Best Regards,
    EL

I've been wanting this one: Classic Dopp Kit :: Reliable Softgoods from Duluth, Minnesota

Haven't seen that particular one in person but their other bags are very well made.
