I've managed to find something I can use as a display case for some of the razors I keep in my rotation. This case was originally used to collect stamps but accommodates my razors wonderfully. Can actually hold up to 21 razors for three week rotation. Found it on eBay for about $30. I say a little bit of ingenuity with whatever one finds about goes a long way and can save you a bundle since some straight razor cases I've seen can be quite expensive. Keep your eyes open for what you can use.

Thanks for this thread gents, this helped me get some great ideas. I ended up googling around for shadow boxes, display case, display with hinge, etc - I eventually settled on a case that normally holds medals and picked up this:
military medal Display Case, American military medal Display Case, Wooden military medal Display Case, Memorial military medal Case

I only have two straight razors, so it does the trick.

I just use a wooden test tube holder, and an antique pipe rack that is on the wall.

Sorry for the cross-posting, but I just now saw this thread.

My wife had this beautiful case waiting for me under the tree this morning. It is sold as a fountain pen case, but it works very well for razors and has a much smaller footprint than some of the larger flat cases. I'd recommend keeping it on your dresser or valet, rather than the moist confines of the bath.

    Happy collecting and displaying!
