    Default Toiletry Kits

Just thought I would ask what people put in their toiletry kits? Mine contains what I consider to be the standard and all that seems necessary... One toothbrush, One tube of toothpaste, one pump spray deoderant, one comb, one tube of Mennen shave cream and one -shiver- Gillette twin blade razor with spare cartridges (hardly used, prefer to go unshaven). The only thing I consider to be extra is the anti-histamine tablets I carry as a precautionary addition to my comfort.
Does anyone carry anything different to this? Or is this too personal a question?

I have Rowallan wash bag for travels.

    I put in the bag:
straight razor, DE or Rolls Razor
    small soap (usually Olivia's)
    aftershave
    small shaving brush
    toothpaste and brush
small puck of tar soap (i keep it in a small army soap box)
    comb

That is all i carry. The rest that i need i can buy when i get there where i'm going. My strop doesn't fit in my wash bag so i have it on the bottom of my travel bag (or motorcycle rack box)

    2. Glide dental floss
    3. Right Guard gel-style deodorant
    4. C&E Nomad soap in wooden bowl
    5. C&E Nomad shave cream (tube)
    6. 1/2 oz plastic bottle of glycerin
    7. DOVO Bismarck 5/8" spike point
    8. shavemac best badger brush
    9. small ceramic bowl (from Target) for making lather
    10. strop - it's only 40 mm wide and about 18" long

Items 1-3 usually go in a ziplock bag
Items 4-9 fit snuggly in my dopp kit with the wooden soap bowl nested in the ceramic bowl with a very thin cloth diaper between them to prevent breakage.
Items 5 & 6 are in a snack size zip lock w/in the dopp kit
The strop lays flat between soft clothing in my suitcase.
My brush is in a cardboard toilet paper roll

    Cheers,
Here's my Rowallan bag. I put the razor next to it to reflect the size. They are made of leather in Scotland, and i got this from my wife few years ago.
Army soap box is just a small plastic soap box issued to every newcomer in our troops.
Sorry for the poor pic. Just a quick shot.

Thanks. Looks like a good set-up.

I was thinking of buying some soap leaves. A little feminine, I know, but my mother had some once and the pack was so small and easy to carry.

    Anyone ever tried them?

I've never purchased them, but remember from my childhood some public restrooms having a soap leaf dispenser. I can remember thinking how cool they were. Doesn't sound feminine to me.
