    Default Razor storage solution

I have been looking for something other than an old shoebox and the razor boxes to store my razors. I found this Plano box at Lowes and used foam from an old pelican case. Each comparment can hold six razors with a layer of foam in between each razor. I plan on adding foam to the lid so all razors will be held securely.

    That looks really nice.

I'm struggling with what to do with my razors. I have my DE's on a custom plaque/holder in the bathroom that displays them really nice.

Would love to do something with my straights also that holds and displays them - but they aren't built to handle the humidity like the DEs are. What to do what to do..

Yeah I know what you mean I look at pics of the guys shave den on here and they look great. Though if you don't have the space or woodworking skills what are you going to do? That and I really did not like leaving them in the little boxes most were really beat up anyway.

I use pipe holders. You can put soaps, razor blades, etc. in the humidor.

I keep them in the bedroom adjacent to the bathroom in a cabinet.

Storing them somewhere nice is a problem for me, no way my wife would let me display them anywhere, so i have started to collect vintage boxes/tins from antique stores, clean them up, and layer them with some foam or the like, and keep them in these, they are out of sight, but look quite cool in a old box.

The tins are a good idea - I may try that. I've already got a few nice ones around - and since they are fairly airtight they would protect my razors in the bathroom - and keep them away from little hands.

This is the stand I dreampt up for my DE razors.
