    Default Period shaving music...

Occasionally, I listen to music whilst shaving. I happened upon this site Cylinder Preservation and Digitization Project That digitizes music cylinders from the late 1800's to early 1900's. They've got a couple radio channels here: Cylinder Preservation and Digitization Project - Cylinder Radio for those interested in increasing the authenticity of their shaving experience

I like to listen to the Carter Family, Woody Guthrie, or Django Reinhardt. Certainly not the music of a Victorian gentleman, but something that puts me in touch with with an earlier time when straight shaving was still widespread.

    Thumbs up

I listen to Mendelssohn, Mozart, Grieg or Bach, usually for my Sunday shave.

Yes... much safer than shaving listening to King Crimson while high on LSD!

I don't do drugs. If you want action try shaving to:
Grieg, In the Hall of the Mountain King
Wagner, The ride of the Valkyries
    Tchaikovsky, 1812 Overture
    Brahms, Hungarian Dance No. 5

As nice as the idea of shaving music seems to be, to be honest I rather enjoy the simplicity of shaving alone with that comforting sound of blade-on-whiskers that we all love. I find it a calming element that adds to my zen moment.

In the Hall of the Mountain King used to be one of my favourite pieces of music, along with Beethoven's 5th (really REALLY loud) when I was 14 or so. A little weird for a 14 year old. I then migrated to Led Zep... But I still like classical now and then...
