Default You Ohio guys will love this old memorabilia!!!

My father use to collect stamps. I found this old advertising envelope at paper show several years ago. It looked so cool I had to buy it. Hope you enjoy it. You just don't see this this sort of stuff everyday. I looked in it and it still had the order form, if you notice the date it says 190_ , so this is 100+ years old.

    Have a good Thanksgiving!

    Default Memorabilia . . .

    Hello, Jacobson76:

Thank you for sharing these bits of memorabilia. History can be so sweet. In the world of gentlemen shavers, sentimental, too.

    Regards,
    Obie

I love stuff like that. They seem to be in great shape for the age.

$1.25 price on a straight looks great, till I remember my grandfather, who was married in 1901, telling me that a dollar a day was considered a good wage right up to WWI.

Thanks Dennisthemenace, you have given me justification for buying a Custom razor; If they spent a day and a 1/4's wages on a razor back then, then there is no reason I shouldn't.
