Salvaged Pocket Pouch
For a quick pouch use an old blue jean pocket. Just hand sew some seams wide enough for each razor. You can add some grommets or button holes at the top for hanging the pouch up somewhere out of the way. Cheap as always, RRR

Salvage Pocket Pouch
I ain't sensitive about class and all that; however, I must upgrade my persona about money matters: Instead of being cheap, I am ostentatiously moderate!
Using salvage stuff is kinda challenging, but it feels good to be able to keep from adding to the landfill. What is good about a pouch like this is that razors can dry out and be kept somewhat organized and out of the way. The pouch can be rolled and tied with an old shoelace and really be Ghetto-ish. So far my razors are content and my wife hasn't scolded me for leaving shaving stuff scattered throughout the house nearly as much as in the past.
Oh, I forgot to mention that the pantlegs of old blue jeans can be folded around a wooden plank in a smooth fashion, stapled to the underside of the plank, and be used for a LINEN STROP. A friend of mine has been doing that for a long time. I haven't tried that trick out yet. It sounds feasable. How about it?

Razor at Bottom
Shayne, It is a George Wostenholm & Son s celebrated IXL washington works sheffield 6/8 near wedge, and is etched: The Fine India Steel IXL Razor Set Ready for Use. Scales are horn with gilt lettering: The IXL Razor. They need replacing, but I can live with bug gnaws.
It was probably made in the 1870s-'90 era of razor exports to America. My best shaver and most responsive to care as prescribed by StraightRazorPlace! I only wish that the other 6 razors were as receptive. I have a 9/16 Bowdin's wedge that is the worst to get shaving properly. I think the bevel is too steep. No more electrician-taped honing for it.

Thanked: 1the denim on the board strop works pretty well. it takes a bit of effort but even after i got my strop i still find myself sitting around watching a movie and stropping away on some denim. Makes a (IMO) really smooth edge.
