    Default SRD Bulldog Mug

I've been wanting a new mug, and I like the looks of the apothecary-styled mugs. But, I didn't want one that said "Col. Conk," and the plain ones were too pricey at $35 and up.

One day, I noticed that SRD had one that was pretty close for about $25. After procrastinating a suitable amount of time, I grabbed one and it arrived yesterday. This sucker is huge and heavy. Never mind the shotgun, if someone breaks in, I'm grabbing this!

I used it for the first time today along with their "West Indies Bay" shave soap. I'm impressed. The lather stayed warm, thanks to the thick walls; there's ample room for the brush and swirling it to make lather. I feel like I got a bargain.
I strop my razor with my eyes closed.

I have a Col. Conk apothecary mug,and it works just fine but.......I just ordered a Bulldog and am looking forward to a very nice shave with it soon. They really are very comforting looking I must say .

I've got one of the SRD bulldog mugs too. I use it for brushes with large lofts and/or long handles. Great for soap/cream combos too because of the walls being high. I also have their lather bowl. The Royal Blues in color and it is my default bowl for normal and shorter lofts. The walls curve inward at the top and you don't have the lather coming out of the top of the bowl and overflowing like you do on other designs. First class pottery work too.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I just got my Bulldog mug in the mail tonight...............WOOOOW!! The pics on SRD's sight are nice, but don't do it justice. What a beautiful mug.I love the weight of it and the handle fits like a glove.I mean I know it's just a mug but,it really is nice. And I love how the potter made it so it could accommodate a standard size puck if wanted.I got the rain forest color, very pretty indeed.Vary generous size but not obnoxious. Thanks Lynn and Don,every product I have gotten from you guys has always been head and shoulders above indeed......You guys rock!!
