I purchased this a few weeks ago the guy gave me a little info he said he purchased from a gentleman that was in his nineties who bought from a antique shop when he was in 20's guy had for 70yrs. He bought it and had over 25 to 30 yrs up till I got it last month
He said from mid 1800s but I have my doubts because it looks so new to me. Pics coming shortly

Well, the font on the bottom appears to be Bauhaus which wasn't created until 1925. So, the dates match up to his age and how long he had it, but I don't think that it's any earlier than 1925.
It's still a beautiful piece.

Thanked: 1I know that Old spice made a " series" of mugs. All of the mugs had ships on the side, like yours, most, if not all had the name of the ship on the side. I don't know if they ever made any scuttle though. VERY beautiful piece. If it WAS from the 1800's, the ship would have most likely been hand painted, and if so, who knows the going price.
