upgraded my home made scuttle
Went to the antique store today and found a ceramic mug to replace the plastic soup bowl in my home made scuttle. Don't think its worth a whole lot, but it fits the theme much better than the soup bowl. What do you think?

Looks nice.
"Old fashioned luxury." - I liked that. It sums up this hobby.

Very nice. Whenever I go out in search of razors and related equipment, I always seem to come across very Girly looking shaving mugs and scuttles. Never a cool manly one. Lucky

Hello, 1sgtscot:
That shave mug is a vintage beauty. It's big and perfect for a large puck of soap, as well as for straight lathering. I am fortunate to have that model, although it's on display in my study next to other old time shaving paraphernalia. Good find.

Obie
