Thread: Mug Jug

Hi everyone, I decided to alleviate the waste of splashing some witch hazel on my hands before applying it to my face. So, believe it or not... i reverted back to Marine Corps basic training. I remember when we had a few seconds to shave, we would rake a disposable razor across our faces, then use the "mug jug". It was an old pretzel rod container filled with cotton balls and aqua velva blue. They said it kept your pores closed so we wouldnt get zits from all the dirt and other things our faces got shoved in. So, i decided to use the mug jug at the house. I grabbed a small airtight jar that i picked up at World Market for 4.99$. Filled it with cotton balls and witch hazel and....it works pretty well. I guess boot camp did teach a couple things after all.

I dunno.
Somehow the image of marines scrubbing their faces with cotton balls seems kind of funny to me.
Sounds like a pretty good idea though.
