    Default 1906 shaving post card

Sharing one of my other collecting interests is this card copyright 1900? and mailed at St. Louis, July 19, 1906 from the Annex Station. Note this is from what is called the un divided back period of cards. Only the mailing address could be placed on the address side( this ended in March of 1907) so the message is scribbled in the blank parts of the picture side. Imagine, sending a card today, addressed as this was, only the name, city and st. name. No number, zip, etc. That was in the day they had a clerk who would get it with the correct route person.

I love the penmanship, wish it was still taught in schools the way it was taught back then.
