Go into walmart and buy an oversized coffee mug and you have a shaving mug for a buck or two. Buy the same thing with a fancy name on it and fancy colored glass or metal and"'ergonomic" handle and you have a $30 or more shave mug.

Shaving Mug.
This is my shaving mug and it is approximately the same size as a latte mug however it has webbing internally to help produce lather and a broader top rim. I do not house soap in it although it is wide enough at the bottom to do so and I use it strictly as a lather bowl.

Planetocean I think has the best cup.
I used to use a ceramic bowl, large mug, and now a bowl of steel for $ 1
Metal bowl with easy warm hair dryer, then take the foam
