Thread: Show us your Shave Den!

For barbicide, to actually completely disinfect something, instructions say to immerse for 10 minutes. That would probably be true for most things to actually disinfect.

I'm looking for some rust protection and a dry blade, the Barbicide has the rust protection, guess I could do the same as yourself, dip it in and wipe the excess off.

I've got to get a hold of some of those silicone razor socks, a new blade I got came in one of those, I posted a thread about them, and they really seem like the bee's knee's for storage.

Anyhow, off to do some more research on the barbicide...

Phrank ...STOP ! Ask Gssixgun about that. It was in a thread way back, but I believe you may do serious harm to your scales soaking in the barbacide. Glen would know for sure though. PM him.

Now that I think about it, it may also corrode your blades. Again consult Glen on that, he would remember that thread and the results.
