There is a story about a particularly vicious bushranger by the name of "Mad Dan" Morgan. It is claimed that after he was hunted down and killed that his scrotum was tanned and used as a coin purse by the magistrate responsible for the area he was killed in.
Don't know if it is true or not but it does make for a good legend.
