    Default Travel Case

Something I whipped up to keep a razor in while traveling. Wide open to suggestions from the more experienced (which would be just about everyone on the forum).
Eventually I will get around to making myself one of the Dopp kits (british officer kits circa 1900) I saw in another thread - very nice! Until then, this is a little classier than a toothbrush case - and I won't grab it by mistake when I want to brush my teeth.
I've made a couple for other members, hopefully they will chime in with photos. I've never figured out my wifes' photo filing system for the computer - I suspect it would require the services of NSA...

Thumbs up Very Nice work Tech!

I like the patina of the leather and the design on the loop. Moreover, it looks substantial. Some of these cases don't look like they would offer protection. With yours, the contents would survive a drop, no problem.

It is a very nice case!! Love mine! Holds the razor very securely, doesn't wiggle around in there. Plenty of protection too!

And not to mention the customization and quality!

    Nice work Oldradartech!

Thank you. The case design makes the razor compartment rigid, but the flap is supple - well soaked with neatsfoot. The patina is military leather dressing - an old recipe. The more you hand rub it, the better it looks, and it does a dandy job of waterproofing. I've made several of these, and continue to refine the design slightly. They're getting pretty decent.

I like it too. Any links to a picture of an example of an officer's dopp kit? I'd be ok being a beta tester of one of those.......just sayin'..........
