Plastic container razor storage.
Hi,
I just thought I would show this idea of mine to store my razors open in the cupboard.
Just a plastic container with some holes drilled in the lid with a piece of anti-slip mat cut to shape at the bottom of it.
I just oil up the razors and place them inside.
Yes I have more holes than razors but I am hoping to fix that problem

Thanked: 1936Love the creative idea, but I would not put the razors inside like that...too much of a chance of the edge getting damaged. The scales are for that reason, protection. All it takes is a steel on steel bump and they would need to be re-honed.

Yes indeed you are correct (I thought someone would bring that to my attention) and because of this I have to be careful when placing them and retracting them, it’s sort of ok with 3 razors but maybe a bit tricky with 9.
Maybe today I will purchase a container that is not so deep and with a larger base area and drill the same holes so I can place the razors folded inside.
I was searching the net for something else I could use such as a test tube holder but I could not really find anything appropriate.

Thanked: 19Also, you may want to add a small desiccant bag into the container, to be on the safer side.
