I have an apartment. The bathroom vanity has under-sink storage, but no drawers. The medicine cabinet is tight and it irks me when moisture covers my stuff, then attracting dust/dander (have a cat too). My wet-shaving gear currently consists of:

Gillette Gold Tech - no protective coating, has been tumbled & polished to remove corrosion
Gillette Slim & Fatboy - out getting re-plated in bright nickel
    (3) straight razors
    (2) Omega Pro #49 brushes
Ever Ready 100T w/ WhippedDog 24mm Black Badger
    (2) Ever Ready 100T handles - knots to be determined
12 or so DE blade packs
    WhippedDog Balsa strop
    WhippedDog leather strop
    MdC 170g glass soap jar
    Bigelow shave cream
Some small assorted soap samples from WhippedDog

I'm starting to think of maybe using some sort of tackle box with some holes drilled into it for vents. I'd let one brush hang out in the bathroom between shaves for full drying.

I just don't want to have shaving clutter everywhere. We have one small bathroom that already has a lot of stuff in it, so I just keep the box stored in the bedroom closet where there's space for it. Plus, I don't have to worry about my daughter getting into it when it's in my closet as opposed to out in the bathroom.

I do plan on putting up a shelf to hold things like soaps and creams, but anything remotely sharp or breakable I'm going to keep in the box and out of sight except for when I need it. As of now I have exactly one brush, one bowl, and one tube of cream..for now it all fits perfectly.
