Up grading the Shave Den!!!!!
So got my early holiday present from SWMBO....she is actually staring to embracing all my ADs
!!!! OR.....maybe she's just tired of my growing amount of stuff in the TINY bathroom of my apartment
! So here it is....the razors were never in the bathroom but didn't have cases to hold them all. I still need to add a shelf to the bottom to hang my strops, a towel or two and to place all the soaps and creams but its a start!!! i am also looking for some type of stand to be able to keep the razors displayed like they are shown since i laid them down b/c i was worried about them falling over, does anyone know where i can find a stand like that??? okay so now for the pictures!!!!!!!
this was the Before the ONLY 3 shelves in the bathroom........
And here it the NEW case!!! (just ignore my half face in the back the case has a mirrored back)
(That is SWMBO trying to hide from the picture and NOT nearly as annoyed as she may look!! I may have told her she was out of the picture when OBVIOUSLY she wasn't)
and here is the whole thing........
hope you all enjoy!!! I'll update pictures as new parts get added......of BTW this case is just outside the bathroom to avoid that horrid steam and moisture.

Thanked: 983Here is a site that stocks some stands that might suffice. You could probably locate something in the US though. This was just a quick google search. The English Shaving Company - Edwin Jagger shaving accessories, shaving creams and aftershaves

yeah i saw those earlier but i need ones that will hold the razors parallel to the shelves and would love if the blades could stay opened but i have thought about getting a few of the up right ones to have as the collection grows

Thanked: 983Possibly then, you could get some clear (or coloured) perspex and make your own stands. I remember (way) back in school we made some stuff from perspex in the workshop. It certainly wasn't hard to do. Once you got your design down it would be easy enough anyway.

That is sweet. Love all the ducks. Looks like you have a few Dubl Ducks in that collection, nice shavers. Let us know what you do for the stands.

There are 3 of my Dubl Ducks in there now.....1 goldedge, 2 round nose and a Satinedge in alabone scales.....I have a few more (a mint stainless, a 13/16 special #1, a dwarf and a second goldedge I got for FREE bc the blade was messed up that glen is fixing it is mint other than that) that I just sent to glen to have some work done. Wanted to re blue the special because it is in such GREAT shape! Yeah I kinda have a thing for ducks and my friends in HS and college called me Dubl (fist 4 letters of my last name) do yeah I'd say I have a little DDAD!! :-D yeah may try to make some stands if I can find stiff enough wire at the theatre! Will keep ya updated!
