    Default Made Camellia Oil Applicator

After oiling a blade with a q-tip, I thought there must be a better way...

    So I made this...

Haven't tried it yet though, hope it will work well.

How do you normally oil your blades?

    Cheers,

That looks very cool. I use my fingertip but am interested in how your brush works.

Sy, my good man, what a great idea. Currently I spray the blade with a light application of Camellia oil and then even it out with my index finger — and it's a pain in the neck. By Jove, I will try to come up with something similar to your creation. Well done.

Nice invention! I use a small piece of toilet paper most of the time, but I also use a Q-Tip occasionally.

I like it, however, the only concern I would have is if the blade would perform a HHT (of sorts) on the brush.
Care would be needed I feel.
I use make-up removal pads to apply the oil to my razors (folded over the spine).
    Great idea though.
Hang on and enjoy the ride...

Guys, delightfully it worked wonderfully. And I can keep the big camellia oil bottle somewhere else out of sight.

Mvcrash, its basically just a modified nail enamel bottle.

Havachat45, I did thought of that, but to avoid edge catching on the edge I brush the oil from spine to edge.
