    Snurdle...
to sniff around looking for something such as food or critters

To the keen eyed engineer it's a disaster waiting to happen as the handle has been weakened at its most vulnerable spot. A far superior solution would have been to include the holder on the opposite side of the handle.

In another front, until now, I thought a snurdle was a "finger" measure, like a pinch. In context I imagined it to be whatever you can scoop with a finger. Now I'm very confused of whether it's a spoon or some canine behavior. This is disturbing because while I may be able to reconcile a spoon involved in my shaving, I absolutely refuse to have dogs have anything to do with it.

May all your shaves be smooth,

Looks to deep and narrow for a brush...
