Thread: sara bonnyman moss scuttle

Just received my moss scuttle from sara bonnyman & what a joy it is, to have your uber lather remaining warm for the entirety of your shave.I'll post some pics once i get over the problem of uploading them.
I would recommend sara to anyone looking for a great individually hand made shaving scuttle.

I, too, have the Moss Scuttle and love it. Of course, it is not meant for making lather — the question comes up from time to time. Rather, the Moss is made to keep the brush warm, and it performs quite well. I also have the Ayars lather bowl, though Sara made mine slightly smaller. Both are in the blue waterfall design. I make the lather in the bowl and then transfer it and the brush into the scuttle. For my bigger brushes, I use the Ansgar Schwarzweisskeramik. The Ansgar is for making lather and it, too, performs quite well. The best of two worlds, I'd say.
