    I really like it! My inspiration to head on out to the pole barn and play with my tools just soared. I really like utilitarian quality of your piece: not too decorative, but rather more functional. I think you did a great job! Could you please post the dimensions/hardware manifest for your piece?

    I used 1/4" round stock to do the stand and 3/8" square for the leaf. As for total length on the 1/4 I am not entirely sure. I mocked up the stand using a piece of wire and when I had it how I wanted I then measured how much was there. I stated with the base and worked my way up to the brush holder. When I got to the brush holder I again used wire to double check the length that I wanted and cut off the unneeded material.

    When I do one again I will make sure to have the spot where the bottom of the razor sits dished out more so it is a more secure base and the leaf a little more curled in on its length.
