Default Anyone see a problem using this as a soap bowl?

This is a silver plated bowl i came across. The photos are below. I didn't know if it would affect the silver plate other than tarnish.

I see no problem with it... other than the antlers would get in my way, personally.

Just clean it well after use, and you probably won't have problems. YMMV

I was wondering that as well. Its not quite as big as it looks in the photos. It is quite smooth though. I will try it out and let you guys know how it works.

So I gave it a go a few minutes ago. The antlers really didn't get in the way like i kind-of expected them to. They actually made a good handle. The lather i made was good but it seemed like i had a put a little more water than normal in it. But in the end I think i have me a new lather bowl. It conducts heat very well. Fill it up with hot water and you have hot/warm lather the whole shave.
