Thanked: 0Can any one help with identifying this bottle?
I found this bottle in a saddle bag and always thought it was to do with the war. But now after some research I think it is to do with knives or shaving given the logo on the front W JNO Baker, 3 Hunter St Sydney. Any information would be great. Sorry the photos are sideways!!
thanks Anne

Thanked: 3It is Dagging bottle from a late 1920's-early 30's Dagging kit (sheep sheering kit)from W JNO Baker. Would have originally been with a kit including dagging sheers or a skinning blade of some type that attaches to a saddle. These kits were used for one off instances of needing to sheer a sheep out on the range rather then bringing it all the way in. Bottle could have been used for water or oil's for the sheeps skin post sheer.
Here is an example picture of some of the kits W JNO Baker used to make from an old catalog from 1929, bottle would have been stored in the pouch on the right side.
