Default Scuttle and Mug Idea for a resonable price

    Gentlemen,
Here is a reasonable priced idea for both a scuttle and bowl. The scuttle is actually a Chinese tea cup with a diffuser and lid. The diffuser has holes on the sides and bottom, with a rough measurement of two and a half inch at the top opening and one and half inch at the bottom and is approx two inches deep. The cup is four and a half inches tall and has a lid. The whole thing comes as a set.
The bowl is nothing more than a rice bowl made of melamine so even if you drop it on a tile floor or in the sink it should not break.
I don’t know what size knot my badger hair brush is but the bristles are approx 2inches wide by 2 inches tall, with a stainless steel handle. Even with its weight the handle the brush can stand up straight with the bristles in the diffuser.
I put water in the mug until it almost touches the bottom of the diffuser. I then put it in the microwave for approx 2minutes. I place my brush into the mug of hot water without the diffuser and place the lid on it. When I’m ready, I remove the brush, shake out the water, and put the diffuser in the mug and replace the lid. I then use the rice bowl to make my lather. After I lather my face I take the lid off the mug and place the brush in the mug bristles down. The hot water that is in the mug keeps my brush hot, and since the bristles cover all the holes in the diffuser most of the heat goes to my brush.
Outcome, hot brush, hot lather, nice looking bowl, nice looking mug, low price. You can get the mug and bowl in many different Asian designs. They can be purchase in oriental stores and on the internet. Check it out. The ceramic mug is approx $6.00 to $9.00 and the mug about $3.00. I put my dovo razor in the picture for size reference.

I had one of these awhile back. I gave it to my roommate at the time since I never used it.

Nice idea. Though I would be careful with putting the brush into boiling/ close to boiling water. Over time the heat could loosen the glue that holds the knot in
