I think your skills would be up to a small portmanteau such as this for a travel set. A loaf shaped end instead of a full round may be bit more practical.

    Thanks guys.

joamo: Aniline leather with thickness of 1mm, which is the reason why I had it lined with another fabric to retain the shape. Currently waiting for Horween leather swatch. Hopefully I can make the next one with Horween Cordovan. That's a nice travel set. Any pic of the inside?

I guess a good travel set would have to be custom made based on the type of gears (size/dimension of aftershave, soap case, brush case etc) it has to carry right?

I haven't seen many, but I believe they were undivided inside, basically a big open area as in this.

The shape and size were meant for a change of clothes and personal items to be carried strapped behind a saddle.

I think the basic design is very elegant and suited to customizing. A smaller version , about the size of a dopp kit, with brush/razor loops, dividers for containers or bowls should be quite doable. You might even consider a polished metal mirror in the flap.

Very nice work. You should have made it with at least 20 pockets. Your a candidate for RAD!!
