Default Made a couple razor cases. What do you think?

I thought I would flex the handy skills and put together a couple storage boxes for my razors. The boxes came pre-made but I added in the finishing on the inside. Felt lining and notches to hold the razors. I made 2 different versions as well.

Since the wood isn't adjustble, I used felt shims to hold the narrower razors in place.

What do you guys think? Thoughts for improvements?

Very nice. Did you use a cigar box as a staring point?

    Thanks,

I actually used a "craft" wooden craft box from Michaels.

Nice. Did you use glue to anchor the wood pieces?

Silicone. I find it to hold extremely well since its more flexible than glue when dried. On a side note, I've tested both these cases by flipping them over and twisting them around. The razors hold very stable, especially on the second design with holes drilled for the tail instead of notches.

Thats a great hands on project. I have entertained thoughts on a similar idea as well. Its nice to see your finished product. It looks like you did a very nice job.
I have some purple, silky, shiny fabric that I thought I might use as a lining if I ever get around to my project.

Great work! The only thing I would add is a spot for a silica gel packet to keep moisture down.

    Cheers.

Nice looking case and looks like you've got some nice blades to store in it as well. Looks like I may have to go and check out Micheals
