Thanked: 220Old Barber's Chair
I passed by this in a mall the other day, so I took a picture of it, (and got some funny looks from the people in the area!) I could not find a name on it, although I didn't examine it too closely, as the situation was embarrassing my Wife! Just thought the picture was worth sharing, as it looked to be in excellent shape, if not original.

Where at? Cause I'll take it.
Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

Holy Crap !
That is the exact same chair my dad used to have but the leather on his was Red.
Us kids used to spin that sucker till we were dizzy
It always smelled heavily of Clubman.
What a great chair that was!
Alas it became very damaged by time and damp basements and found its way to the curb before I could rescue it, someone had picked it up and made off with it.
I would dearly love to have it back but I don't know where I'd put it anyways
Thanks for posting
Mike

Thanked: 1184If it was me I would have been asked to leave because I know the little sign that says please do not sit in the chair is for all those careless people that carry food and drink in the mall and not ME ! If asked to leave I just say "hey I am going to buy it". Then the mall cop comes.
That is a fine chair and thanks for the picture. As for the wife,,,, you now have the perfect reason to get the new Google Glass. :<0)Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Mine says Koken on the footrest, but it's in the wrong place. It should be on the extension of the footrest.

I'm wondering if it is an early one that didn't have the extension, or the headrest ? Maybe they came later ? I notice that the one has the lever to pump up the chair height while the other has the wheel to turn. I'm assuming that is not hydraulic ? So they must have made technological advances and that accounts for the differences ?
