    Default Re purposed cutlery box

Hope this is in the right spot, if not mods please move it. Found this old cutlery box at the Sally for $8.00 and thought it would make a good home for my SRs. Oddly enough buying the velvet and getting new keys cost more than the box. I think it is walnut too. Needs some finishing touches like having the brass work polished but I think I'll leave that to the "morning watch" and have yet to figure how to utilize the space in the lid. The work is a little rough but it will do for now.

Poor Bob, needs to get up in the morning, two hours earlier than others. 30 minutes for the actual shave and 90 for the decision which razor to use.

must admit, I like the lid the way it is, with all the patina and the stamp. Having the old and rough in the lid and the soft velvet in the box.

Picking which one is never a problem, just close the eyes, reach in and grab one. Shaving is like a box of chocolates, you never know what razor it will be, with a tip of the hat to Tom Hanks in Forest Gump.

Who on earth would have known that. I was just too shy to ask.

    Yeah, sure! Nice try, Bob.
You built the box, then deliberately put al the razors in there and now You close Your eyes, pick one and burst out "Ohhhh, the doubl duck...again... What a surprise". That doesn't count, unless Your wife shuffles them *after* You have closed the eyes... and no cheating!!
