People want what they can't have, eh? Jerry, I could be wrong, but I think sales for straight razors and other shaving paraphernalia are down again, or at least experiencing downward pricing pressure due to cheap Chinese razors, all the stuff on Amazon, Etsy and Ebay, guys cleaning out their collections, etc. I can't prove it, but I'm almost certain that razors especially were getting significantly more here on SRP about 8-10 years ago, when it seemed everybody had to have the latest Filis, WBs, Ducks, etc. If I didn't already have so many brushes and turning more like you, I would like this nice walnut job myself.
We have also seen fluctuations in demand over the years due to Sweeny Todd type movies, maybe James Bond getting shaved in a movie, what the hipsters are into this week, etc. (Are hipsters even still a thing?). Maybe demand will bounce back? There are many roads to sharp.

Patent. Good one. I will say I have made it for two people so I've made it three times and have a cheat card made so I can make it again.

My brother and I both bought one and are thrilled with them. Well worth what we paid for them.
