SOLD 7 Each Briar Tobacco Pipes - Restored & Sterilized
This lot of tobacco pipes were completely restored to include being sterilized. This is a very nice collection and all of the pipes have a couple of lifetimes of smoking to enjoy.
All stems were soaked in Oxyclean to begin the restoration process and once dried soaked in Everclear for 24 hours. Bowls were reamed as needed and shanks were cleaned with alcohol soaked swabs until all came out clear. Where required, bowls and shanks were sanded down, refinished, and hand buffed and finished polishing with Ren wax. None of these pipes have any issues and all have perfect draws.
$110 for the lot delivered via priority mail in CONUS. PayPal please.
From left to right we have:
1. From a famous name in pipe makers, a James Boswell mid 1980's large Dublin.
2. A unique Tenderbox Bent Billiard made in England and appears to have been smoked only a few times.
3. An English handmade Tilshead Lumberman.
4 A 1950's custom made Rhodesian by Tom Howard. Mr. Howard was a very interesting pipe maker. Google him for more information.
5. A Comoy's Tigers Eye 296 made in London, England.
6. A Canadian style whose marks are warn off with use. It has a beautiful briar flamed bowl.
7. From Denmark a very nice B Jarne bent billiard.
