Quick question. Who where these made by? Are they from Beyond Wood Products?
Hello Andrew. Yes the hybrid stock is great to work with and produces some fine looking pieces. The guy I bought this from was seasonal and as I just looked to his site he has decided to close up shop!!!!! Man oh man! He produced some fine hybrid turn stock too! Sorry buddy but he is who I bought from solely.

No worries. He did a fantastic job on them. I can see the resin in the tiniest of gaps which means he was able to get it driven deep into everything. I was nervous that the burl wasn't going to be that "burly" but the caps he used are also very nice. Looks like a brown mallee burl cap if I had to guess. Anxious to get one on the lathe. Probably finish them with Shella wax EEE and then the cream.

Yes! I used a wet micro mesh progression from 1500 grit through 12k for a wet almost mirror look then I used Nova polish on the alumilite then a polish for the wood that was friction based for a high gloss. Made some impressive pieces but for some reason no one ever bought the pieces! Guess I did not have a big enough name out there for people to take a chance. Oh well, I just absorbed them into my private stock for using.
